The Continuous Professional Development Program (CPD) conducts various capacity building and refresher courses for the medical teaching faculty of Akhter Saeed Medical College, Islamabad. These workshops aim to provide the background and skills necessary for faculty members to participate positively in academic activities of the college. Medical Education Department conducts and facilitates all the workshops and courses based on their college needs. The training programs are to keep teachers abreast of new concepts and content incorporated into the curricula and mode of delivery, advanced skills. Training of the teachers in their disciplines is essential for the transmission of knowledge and skills to students.
